Located 33 km southwest of the Medieval City of Rhodes, Ancient Kameiros is one of the island's three ancient cities whose ruins are still visible today.
Above the beach of Ancient Kameiros you will find the fish tavern Old Kameiros, with a history dating back to three generations of ownership. In the kitchen, the present owner's father, Mr. Theodore Pitropakis, masters the preparation of fish so fresh, they smell of saltwater.
Among delicious menu recommendations are the lobster spaghetti, spaghetti with kolochtypa, the seafood mix, and the grilled sun-dried octopus. The tavern also features a few home-style cooked dishes such as moussaka, stuffed vine leaves and stuffed peppers.
Enjoy your meal with a glass of Greek wine, your choice from the updated wine list, which includes some of the best local labels.
