A restaurant-attraction in Santorini, in the sense that if you do not visit it you will miss out on a delicious and unique part of the island. There are no words strong enough to describe Koukoumavlos and its cuisine.
We found it at a new location in Fira, in a space reminiscent of houses from different times, while its philosophy remains the same. The 28 years of Koukoumavlos find the restaurant-landmark at its most mature and at the same time renewed phase.
The owner and chef, Nikos Pouliasis, has created a cuisine that does not fit into any of the known categories. The menu honours local products, respects Greek tradition and loves the modern techniques, while in essence it is a personal culinary narration of the creative chef.
The menu includes original dishes and unusual suggestions with impressive presentation, while its only space contributes to experience a culinary experience of many stars.
The wine list is up-to-date and honours the Greek vineyards. There is also a degustation menu at €65 per person, which includes four dishes and a dessert.
