As far as decoration is concerned, the spotlight steals the huge tsolias (Greek soldier) on the outer wall, which is the restaurant’s hallmark. Its interior is decorated with unique artwork and rare objects, while the tables are set with white porcelain, vintage silver cutlery and crystal glassware that add a distinctive touch to the whole experience. The dinnerware, like most objects in the restaurant, come from the personal collection of the owner, Mr. Konstantinos Priovolos.
In the kitchen, we find Dimitris Skarmoutsos, who combines in the best way the gourmet with the traditional Greek flavours and the Mediterranean cuisine values in a menu inspired by the culinary richness of the island. The Athenian salad in its original recipe with mayonnaise and vegetables, along with a new version of tartar, the smoked fava with crisp spicy Evros sausage & caramelized onions and the moussaka with lamb chops, smoked eggplant, tahini, potato crisps & feta cheese béchamel are only some of the most interesting proposals.
The sophisticated wine list, with the signature of the oenologist Panos Zouboulis, takes us on a tour from Cyclades to the Peloponnese and up to Northern Greece. Don’t miss out on the exquisite cocktails with Greek spirits that the award-winning mixologist Alexandros Gkikopoulos creates.
