For most people, Lalaria, in the northeast part of the island is the most beautiful beach of Skiathos, and not only. How could this not to be true when its spectacular view consists of a majestic and imposing vertical cliff, which starts from the top of the slope and ends "impetuous" just behind the point of the coastline?
This wondrous scenery is complemented by the white, round pebbles (these are pieces dislodged from the cliff which over time were carved by the sea and salt taking this particular shape) of the coast and the seabed, which their name to the beach as the locals call them lalaria.
Combined with turquoise, crystal clear water, you can understand why Lalaria is one of the most famous beaches of Skiathos. Still untouched by the human hand and mass tourism, it does not feature the amenities you might expect, so make sure you've taken with you all the necessary supplies. "Tripia Petra", at one end of the cliff, is also a reference point.
