This is one of the oldest taverns in the Old Port and is full of character. It has been running since 1945. Like a scene that takes you back in time to when the actress, Jenny Karezi, sat at one of the tables during the filming of the Greek movie, "Jenny-Jenny", it is certainly worth trying Kapelogianni's cuisine. Traditional meze with ouzo overlooking the sea and a view of the picturesque Old Port.
What more could you ask for, apart from Mrs. Vaggelio's tasty creations, fried or grilled fresh fish, homemade pies and great company? Octopus and shrimps are among the preferred options on the menu, with ciro making a great impression and white bait taking the lead.
