Sotirios Anargyros Mansion

This is an imposing 1904 mansion behind Dapia. Sotirios Anargyros -a Spetses benefactor- who gave it the name of the Egyptian deity, Neith, and decorated it with Egyptian motifs from the sphynxes at the entrance to the impressive windows and frescoes.

It is characterized by symmetry on the facades, balanced in the formation of its volume, purity of architectural form and clarity of individual morphological neoclassical properties. The portico colonnade formed on the ground floor shaping the first floor balcony is typical. The building is situated in the center of the garden with pebble walkways, three water tanks, a house, a pigeon house and an oven.

Generally speaking, the building is considered to be a unique example of art and beauty.
