Archaeological Museum of Syros

You will find the Archaeological Museum housed in the Town Hall in the heart of Syros. The core of the museum's archaeological collection consists mainly of inscriptions collected by Ioannis Kokkonis in 1834. Enter via the Town Hall's western entrance.

The Archaeological Museum of Syros contains a significant number of findings from Chalandriani, and also interesting Hellenistic and Roman sculptures, inscriptions and tombstones from Ermoupoli.
