Hiking

Hiking enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience unique hikes during their stay in Syros. Some of the trails worth walking are:

1. Walks in Ano Syros
2. Browsing the lush green inland village of Chroussa
3. Browsing Posidonia/Delagratsia
4. The Galissas - Agios Stefanos route. The part of the island which is located north of the straight line which connects Ermoupoli and Foinikas is called Ano Meria. The area in between the hard to reach Mount Syrigas and the west coast (Natura 2000) has many natural freshwater reserves.
