2 days in Thessaloniki for singles
The day begins in the morning with a visit to the city's landmark, the White Tower. Walk to Navarinou pedestrain Street, up to the Arch of Galerius and the Rotunda. A coffee break at Pasta Flora Darling on Iktinou pedestrian Street will give you the energy you need to go on a shopping spree on the central Tsimiski, Proxenou Koromila and Mitropoleos streets. After a visit to the Cinema Museum in the port warehouses, head to Ladadika for a real feast in one of the taverns or choose Fri to taste authentic delicacies from the island of Kasos. In the afternoon, after a coffee break in Aristotelous Square or on Nikis Avenue, take a stroll around Nea Paralia, along the shore of the Thermaikos and wander amid the various theme parks. After sunset, get prepared for Thessaloniki nightlife. Make a stop at Athonos Square or Bit Pazar to sample some mezes and then head to the famous Valaoritou Street for super cocktails at Elvis, and sophisticated tequilas at La Doze.
Start your day like the locals by relaxing over coffee with the Thermaikos Gulf at your feet. A good place to do just that is Bungalow White in Nea Paralia. Later on, head east to Kalamaria and Nea Krini. There, with the Aretsou Marina in the background, you can try fresh fish and seafood in one of the district's famous fish restaurants. Relax with a coffee in a beach cafe, such as My House which will make you feel right at home. Afterwards set sail for Ano Poli. After admiring the view from the walls, Tsinariou Square welcomes you into its friendly taverns.
