Ancient Agora Square

One of Thessaloniki's most prominent squares, also known as Dikastirion Square (a courthouse was planned to be constructed here) is located in the Roman Forum area.

Surrounded by Philipou, Chalkeon and Egnatia streets, it is one of the city's most historic landmarks. Up until recently a hammam operated here, which was a popular meeting point for many people. The Church of Panagia Chalkeon, flower beds, the Apollo circus, the bus stop to Neapoli and the famous statue of Eleftherios Venizelos are here.
