The name is taken from the French word Ble, meaning wheat. However, Ble is a holistic culinary concept which covers almost all the diet needs of its customers thoughout the day

It couldn't have been given a more fitting name as it offers daily a variety of its famous bread (60 different kinds) made from 7 different types of natural dough (try the Agerino, the Pinakoti from Agio Oros, the muesli, bulgur wheat with dried apricots and prunes, walnuts, oatmeal etc and the Hawaii baguette with pineapple, curry, plain dough and mature dough).

Housed in a magnificent and very elegant neoclassical listed building on Agias Sophias pedestrian Street, it has won awards and made the foreign headlines for having the world's tallest stone oven measuring 12 metres in height, which is shaped like a monolith. and built using clay from Crete, hay and goats' hairs on stubbles.

Among the products that will lure you in are the wide range of sweets, made with select ingredients from around the world (profiteroles and tiramisu are the best sellers, famous gateaux of French-Swiss origin and top quality chocolates and the all natural ice creams), the famous Cretan delicacies (Sfakian pie with apaki, lychnarakia, etc.), as well as a variety of snacks (focaccia, pies, sandwiches, cold salads, freshly cooked pasta etc.).

The specially designed espresso bar serves 100% arabica coffee from 7 countries in Central and Latin America, such as Tarazzou from Costa Rica, Supremo from the slopes of the Andes, last harvest  Pacamara from Nicaragua etc. from which are made the blends of Ble, which are roasted on site. Six different varieties in total are used which you can enjoy as one variety coffees sitting at the tables outside or the stands indoors.
