The unique Pharmaceutical Museum of Greece is located in the Finikas district of Thessaloniki, toward the airport. Situated approximately 10 minutes by car from the center of the city, the museum offers the opportunity to learn all about the history of pharmaceutical science in Greece.
Up until 2007 when it opened its doors, the lack of such a museum was a major loss for a country, which has come a long way in providing this great space. Today, however, the study and emergence in the field, is not only tangible but also enables a lot of people (who previously did not know of the existence of the museum) to be informed of it.
Through the exhibits housed in its halls, it highlights the important social role of Greek pharmacists and their contribution to the development of pharmaceutical science, which in recent years has made significant steps.
