A "flower" of flavours in Ladadika. Paparouna restaurant for the last five years is found in one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods of Thessaloniki and offers lessons in value for money philosophy and fun. It is located opposite the famous "Marina" hotel which for decades has been housing romances.
Its space is unique and elegant, with the checkerboard tile floor and the brightly coloured walls giving it a European bistro flair. As for food:In the kitchen, we find the talented chef Frixos Tsapopoulos. He faithfully serves the modern Greek cuisine, changing the menu twice a year due to the seasonality of the raw ingredients.
The dishes on the menu that stand out out include the kefalotyri saganaki with dakos, caramelized cashews and mango jam with chili, the long chylopites with beef breze and herbs cremolata, the moussaka with fennel, mojito béchamel and feta cream, the stuffed lamb with greens and feta cheese, sauce and confit potatoes, and the seafood platter with grouper, tuna and prawns grilled with salt flower and olive oil garnished with quinoa salad with tomato and mint.
It should be noted that the presentation of the dishes is truly excellent; inspired and ideal to support the level of the kitchen.
When it comes to desserts, don’t miss out on the chocolate ganache flavoured with ginger and lime with biscuit, orange jam and berries, and the mille-feuille with vanilla cream flavoured with orange, raspberries and blueberries.
