Known as one of the best, the pasteli of Zakynthos should be one of your purchases on the island. This traditional sweet is made of sesame, honey and almonds and it is particularly beneficial to our bodies as it is both stimulating and nutritious.

It was originally made because of the mass production of almonds for making mandolato. It can be kept in room temperature for about 15 days during the winter period and for about 10 during the summer period, always in its original packaging.
